This pretty clip on lampshade is handmade using Rubelli printed fabric - Violetta autumn pattern - finished with dark gold trim, with a fitting that clips over the light bulb

Printed fabric with a percale cotton ground which reproduces an original pattern from the second half of the nineteenth century. The colourways and brushstrokes typical of a sketch and also the fraying and bare patches found in the original are replicated with extreme accuracy. The result is that of a fabric with a faded elegance, reminiscent of a rich and luxuriant old garden
